frequently asked questions
how do I prepare for a meditation or reiki session?
`consider your intention for the session.
`be comfortable. some clients prefer to sit, others lay down with a blanket or pillow.
`have a glass or water or tisane nearby, perhaps a journal for after.
is this through zoom, face time, or phone?
`phone is easiest for meditation and reiki although I am happy to accommodate your modality of choice. I will send a zoom link for yoga and herbal consultations. private moon circles are available through zoom and currently at source meditation studio in boise.
`once we begin I will ask that you make your device hands-free. speaker phone, ear buds, or headphones.
what will happen after the session?
`you are invited to practice exquisite self-care. if sleepy, go to sleep. if not, spend some time outside to ground and connect in the elements. drink lots of water. dance. laugh with friends.
`I am happy to answer any follow up questions you may have and will check-in in a few days or a week.
are scholarships available?
`absolutely! if you are essential personnel, bipoc, and/or just need some love we are always happy to support you.
`meditation, reiki, herbs, and yoga compliment ayurvedic and traditional chinese medicine , however are not substitutes for western medical care, clearly. always consult your primary care provider before adopting new modalities into your wellness routine.
